We have played this game with different sets of people. First time was at a family get-together. And it is always a surprise hit. What stood out right away was how quick it was to learn. The rules are really straightforward, so we didn’t waste time trying to figure things out — we were playing within minutes. Even people who don’t usually play board games got into it without any trouble. It was such a hit that my sister-in-law took it with her to UK as a gift for her husband. This is our second deck :)
The game feels light and silly at first, but once you get into it, there’s actually a good amount of thinking involved. You’re always making small decisions — whether to push your luck, stay quiet, or try to shift attention to someone else. But it never gets too serious. There’s a nice balance between strategy and just having fun.
The theme is pretty clever — it’s based on this annoying bird that keeps causing problems in an apartment building — and honestly, it felt familiar in a funny way. The card designs are funny and well thought out. A lot of laughs came just from reading what was on the cards.
What I liked most was that the game moves fast. No one’s stuck waiting for their turn too long, and there’s always something happening. Even when it’s not your turn, you’re still paying attention because someone might play something that affects you. And every game we played felt a bit different. The variety in the cards makes it hard to predict what’s going to happen next.
The artwork is nice and has a lot of character. It adds to the fun without trying too hard. Overall, it’s a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still gives you enough to think about so you stay engaged. Good mix of humor, interaction, and light strategy.
Definitely one of those games that works well with friends or family, especially if you just want to relax and have some laughs together.
I’ve played this game with different groups, from family to friends, and everyone has loved it! It has such a unique idea and adds a lot of fun to our game nights. The illustrations are excellent, and the instructions are clear on how to play. Very happy with this purchase, good value for money!
Fun and creative game! Definitely recommend!
Dropped one star as some rules are a little ambiguous and also because it would be useful if the game creators would create a video playing the game as a sample.
I didn't expect how much I would actually enjoy this card game. The art is really well thought out and I can see the care put into it. The cards having instructions on how to use them makes it easier to teach to friends who have never played before.
I also enjoy that this game can be played either as a co-op game or a werewolf like social deception game. But due to the nature of it being a card game makes it more dynamic in who holds the Kabutar.
Amazing game for friends, its very light funny and lovely game that can be played anywhere anytime.
Everyone should definitely get it
